aftermarket wheels opinion?with photo on car now

would any of you nice folks out there like to give your opinion on whether these wheels would suit my z or not.i think they would but a second opinion wouldn't hurt :)

Don't see why not, but what size are you thinking of, and what model is it going on.

The only thing I'd say is to remove the Dotz badge and stick a normal BMW on.
 
im looking at 18's,it going on a 2.5se in silver.i already have a spare set of centers and i'd thought the same :wink:
 
bigcoose - Can't tell how they'd look on the car by that pic.. I think they look okay but I'm not sure if the gaps in between spokes are too big? 18inch is a good size - I've got those on my car. Good call to change the centres.
 
They look similar to another members wheels. I think the topic was about the deep lip in chrome - some for, some against.

I could sit on the fence all day about it :D

Chap at work had a similar setup on his silver 350Z and it looked fantastic.

Only other thing to consider if you're going big is your ride height... to finish the look off.
 
i have 18" elipsoids on at the mo and it sits nice,i didn't want to go to 19's just incase it sat too high or looked out of place.thanks for all your input guys :)
 
i think they are a nice choice, shame you cant get them in a slightly darker finish though.

smoked chrome or something like that. i do like the deep dish look though :thumbsup:
 
here's a pic of the wheels fitted to my z,it will settle considerably as it was only pulled forward a few feet.i think its a good result tho :D DSC00163.jpg
 
the only answer i have for that is after looking at the quality of the dotz wheels compared to the bmw wheels is that i wouldn't buy original wheels as they really are quite poor.its a shame as the rest of the car is fab. :tumbleweed:
 
i did try to change them but the centre's i have are to large so i'm looking for some smaller diameter one's,i will def change them tho as the bmw centre's will finish them off :D
