I thus would assume it to be posisble for a Z4 hardtop as well.

Thanks Mau - that looks awesome! Now that I have got over the mis-hap... I need to revisit this and see about doing it. I think I may just end up doing it myself this time... safer that way

Sadly not, I decided to cut my losses with him. Yes, I could have taken him to the small claims court, as has been suggested... but it became apparent the guy didn't really have a penny to his name. Also, it would have come down to my word vs. his.

It's a pain, but sometimes you have to pick your battles.

None taken - and you're probably right Jonny, but the guy has hit really hard times (his business has subsequently gone into liquidation). He has people queueing up to get what they're owed. Months of hassle for a few pence in the pound... in the grand scheme of things, my life will be better if I walk away, cut my losses and move on.

Having spent a considerable sum in legal wrangles I can say from experience that in this case you have the right attitude, life is just too short!
