Aftermarket seats for E89 - any options/recommendations?

As per the title, If I want to replace the E89 seats, are there any options out there? I have seen plenty for the E85, but not sure I've seen any E89 replacements.
The fact that they're heated/electric could make it very difficult, but am just interested to see if anyone else has done this, or looked into it.
Cheers.

Depends on what your preference is, such as comfort, adjustibility, support, long or short journeys in mind? And it will almost always involve changing the sub-frame and a portion of the loom if you want to keep the electrical functions going. What is about the E89 seats you dont like?

Thanks Yorkie & Hunter.
Truth be told, I don't know if I don't like the seats yet, but just wanted to see if this had been done with the E89. As Hunter mentions, it would probably involve some major changes to the mounting setup, no easy bolt-in replacements.
I wasn't aware of the airbag either.

Fitting-wise, if it fits the e85 it'll fit the e89.
Seat electrics wouldn't be a problem, you'd just disconnect them, no fault lights, no electrics, no problem!

But the Airbag would be a major problem, I'm not aware of any delete option, and would probably invalidate your insurance if it's not connected as well as a light on your dash permanently! Even if you fitted another BMW seat with a side bag (normally from a convertible) it would have to be compatible for it to be seen correctly and operate.

As for why?......
What seats do you have? There are generally two types, Standard and Sports. The Standard have a fixed (built-in) head rest and no adjustable thigh support whereas the Sports do. On top of that there are various other options that include heat, lumber, side bolster movement, electric, memory and manual movement in various combinations.
I had Standard and was offered a pair of Standard but with full electric memory. I was expecting no difference in comfort but the new ones were so much more comfy, so you never know how they'll feel in just a change.

Well that answers the Airbag issue, whether it's a good idea is a different thing though. I'm sure the insurance company would love that following an accident where they don't pay you out! "Vehicle safety system tampered with = No payout!"

I’ve been looking at Recaro Ergomed seats, fully adjustable with heating and cooling. Pricey but worth it for the comfort.

Wow, didn't realise there were so many nice options with seats.
@Anubiszed - very interesting point about the difference in the 2 types of standard (not sports) seats. You wouldn't think there'd be anything different just because one had heated/electric adjustable option and the other didn't.
Mine has the heated and electric memory seats (but no lumbar or bolster adjusment AFAIK) so here's hoping they're nice and comfy :-)
Car was loaded onto the carrier this morning, now I have to wait 7-10 days for it to be delivered. No one's explained why it takes so long since you can drive the distance in about 2-3 days easily?
Oh well, patience....

Yeah no idea why the new ones are comfier, maybe that they are 2 years newer, but the car they came from was about the same mileage. I would have gone with the "all singing, all dancing" sports seats but you have to be very lucky to find them not only in the right colour (Coral Red) but I would have wanted them to be the full loaded version and they pop up once in a blue moon and are very expensive, normally well over £1k, but as these came up for a song (only £200) I simply couldn't refuse them :D
The ones you are getting sound just like mine, so best of luck. It was a very interesting retro-fit for me to do, but I enjoyed doing it.
Don't forget that we want photos of yours when you receive it
