Hi All
I need some help/advice….I’m fed up with my bmw dab standard radio signal is less than bloody useless,!!! I’ve tried retuning the channels but to no avail. I know I can run the aux lead from under the arm rest but it’s not always ideal.

I’ve seen this guy on eBay/instagram etc with rave reviews to fit an after market screen so I can Bluetooth my phone and play radio apps, waze, YouTube music…you get the idea.
Anyone heard of this guy or can recommend any others around the Cambridge area?

Many thanks in advance

John

Looks like he’s been bitten by most issues so a fixed price offer seems to me reasonable..

Some people find the sound quality via the aux port not good..others happy enough ..

He stresses this point amongst others.

Thanks, I hear what you’re saying but I’ve used the aux port many times and poorer quality sound is far better than the silence the radio gives out..😂

Yup tend to agree

Personally I've never had an issue using the AUX. I originally used it for my phone, then for my Android screen and then for the mmi box (following the iDrive retrofit), but now its fed via the MOST fibre optic, which the Android screens don't do. I did find an adaptor that had AUX input and would convert it into a near digital output via the MOST, but it was somewhere near £280, so a tad expensive for what it did.
Anyway you can't tell any difference when you're driving at 70mph with the roof down!!
