Right I have been searching for ages trying to find Android 10 for non CIC with no iDrive but can’t find it anywhere for UK
Although not in the UK, Milo is the guy I got mine from and organised the group buy for this club last year.
You can find him on a few Facebook groups..... https://m.facebook.com/groups/296095667264685?view=permalink&id=1379409098933331

It really depends what you currently have. Do you have bluetooth at the moment? Do you have USB in the armrest?

USB in arm rest, and bluetooth for calls yeah.
If you already have Bluetooth and USB then no you don't need to wire all of that in. Presumably you'll have a MULF in the boot (behind the panel to the left og the ski hatch). So in that case all you really need is the headunit, the screen, the iDrive controller and the USB to go in the glovebox (all of that is included in the link I posted, along with a lot of wiring you don't currently need). So with what you have and what I've just listed you'll also need a GPS receiver and the radio cage (as it's different from the standard headunit). This will give you sat-nav, radio, CD, USB music, AUX input and bluetooth for calls.
It would still require some coding though and the sat-nav may still require an FSC code to work (or an emulator adaptor which is probably cheaper!)

I see, very interesting.

Say I sourced all parts, would you be able to assist with coding at all?

Purely hypothetical at this point!

Theoretically your existing Bluetooth, USB and AUX should still work with the iDrive installed just the same as they do now, so it "should" be just a case of installing the new parts and then a quick code of the new headunit to your car and Hey-Presto you have a fully working system.
It is something I can do, but the biggest problem you are going to find is the radio cage. I've never seen one advertised anywhere and I had to do a bit of searching to find one. This has to be a job of contacting breakers and asking if they have a e89 that had (has!) iDrive and if they'd sell you the radio cage from it. Everything else is relatively easy to get hold of.

I see, do you have a part number for it?

Or just search for CIC radio mount or cage etc?

No part number as it is part of the dash assembly, but whenever you see a dash for sale this part is never included! So it's a hunting down job in afraid.

Is this the correct part?

Alas no, it needs to look equal on both inner sides
