I've been trying to search around here on the forum - but havn't been able to find answers to my questions (maybe I am just not good at using the forum search function)
I've got an e86 from 06, which does not have Sat-nav or CD changer.
I've been thinking of going the hard (and ugly) way of replacing the OEM radio with something like this:

and combine it with this
https://www.hilmars-audio.dk/shop/radioramme-bmw-z4-219p.html
to cover the remaining space.
The radio does state that it is Steering Wheel Remote Control Ready - which I would like to integrate.

- Which adapter will I need to install the above radio?
- Is there another radio that is a better fit?
- Can the radio "drive" the speakers?
- How do I integrate the radio with Steering Wheel Remote Control?
