Aftermarket radio comes on upon unlock?

Hi guys

I have an aftermarket radio fitted (long story!) and never had problems with it. (Its the Blaupunkt Stockholm 400DAB)

Normally, I unlock the car, put the key in the ignition and then the radio comes on. Take the key out, radio shuts off.

Yesterday I received a bluetooth call through the radio as I was parking and cut it off before answering because I shut the engine off.
When I got back in the car later that day, the radio seemed to still think it was 'on a call' and just read 'incoming call' on the display.
Nothing on the radio would work. So to get around this, I just got a friend to call me while I was in the car and that seemed to reset it.

However, now the radio seems to want to turn itself on as soon as I unlock the car (so turns on during the wake up phase) it no longer needs the key in the ignition to turn on - and now turns off when I lock the car, or take the key out. I have no idea why the way the radio turns on has now changed!

My question is, is there a way I can change when the radio comes on within the E89 settings? I can't seem to find a setting on the radio itself.

Cheers

The radio will get its power on commands via the can bus..but can’t see any options to explicitly drive the head unit..

Thanks for the reply.
Any idea why something so simple would alter the way the radio turns itself on?

I've asked a auto-electrical place that fitted the radio originally for ideas - he suggested its somehow got out of sync with the ignition of the car. So recommended turning the ignition on, then radio off, then ignition off, lock the car and then try again. Tried that, also tried disconnecting the battery and defaulting factory settings but still the same.

I'm out of ideas so thought I'd come here for suggestions of what I can try..
