Aftermarket in Germany

for anybody on this side of the atlantic, (ie. Europe) if you feel like making a trip through Germany or are already in Germany, check this place out. After some research, these guys seem to be the only ones around here that can tune, and they offer the MILLTEK exhaust, which appears to be the most viable bolt on performance upgrade available in full system or cat-back. The place is called SKN tune, and they look like they have their ducks in a row. I'll be diving more into over the next week. Here's the link... http://www.skn-tuning.de/portal/alias__Rainbow/lang__de-DE/tabID__3326/DesktopDefault.aspx

Just the music ...

Not another company offering 16bhp for just a chip (and expensive one at that) on a Z4M

Isn't the original poster in the US? How can they recommend a company that they've only 'researched' on the net :?

That'll explain it then

Although my statement about chip-tuning power gains still stands, and I'll not go anywhere near a tuner for anything if they maintain these chip-tuning claims without empirical evidence.

Although I suppose they could state that there's a 1hp gain at 500rpm, 1hp at 1000rpm, etc up to 8000rpm which equates to a 15hp gain in total :P

Agree the HP gain just does not justify the expense but perhaps there is a better sound.
