Aftermarket black grilles - where from?

Other than BMW can anyone recommend a seller for a set of gloss black grilles please?

The one you’ve found is half the price as mine. Some folk say there’s something that doesn’t easily match with the clips from some of the aftermarket ones, but mine was straight plug and play.

BTW, I’m looking for somebody that can fabricate paddle shifters, in either carbon fibre or metal. Do you know fabricators in the U.K. or E.U. ? Thanks.

I bought a few pairs off eBay that didn't fit so I eventually gave up and just got them from BMW. No point in skimping tbh. The aftermarket ones are all crap quality with poor fitment.

Look at Salberk grilles from Germany. Really good quality and slightly modernised shape. Worth any import tax IMO.

I bought a pair of those cheap Chinese ones off of Ebay and they did not clip in,after messing with them for awhile I just painted my originals and reinstalled them.

Only did it on a whim but like the look…..

You may also consider removable-peelable paint if you ever want to go back to stock...

Sprayed mine with rattle can for plastic - primed first and still good after 2 years
Even stood up well to stone chips.

If you buy Chinese off ebay you will take a gamble on a proper snug fit. If you go to a local BMW parts dept you will most likely get them for £50 per side with a wee bit of haggle (I did at Eastern BMW in Edinburgh). This option gives you a proper fit guaranteed. You'll get matt black slats and a gloss black surround on the genuine OEM product - looks great. Cheap Chinese will give you all gloss black slats & surround.
