I need help with the following
I bought an Android CarPlay head unit for my E85, along with the harness and a K-Bus adapter for the steering wheel controls. It seems that I'm losing the radio memory after 2 days (it's like it's resetting, but only for the radio memory, not for the time or settings).
I went through troubleshooting but couldn't find anything. As you can see in the attached picture, the yellow wire (12V) connects to a pin in the head unit, which seems to be connected to an internal battery or capacitor. When I checked it with a voltmeter, it showed 1.87V. The black wire is neutral/ground, and the red wire is ACC, which shows voltage when the key is switched on.
I read that i need to switch over the red with the yellow wire, but where before K-bus or before the head unit?
