After washing ??

OK so having invested in Meguirs gold shampoo/conditioner along with the mitt and micro mibre cloths what shall I be finishing the process with ?

I noticed there were various "quick detailer" sprays available but don't want to ruin the wax/polish my detailing chap put up.

Also, if i use a TFR (traffic film remover) prior to washing will this strip the polish/wax ?

can anyone suggest a safe one to use ?

Quick detailers are to be used on clean cars for quick cleaning of say a bug spot etc. You can use them to finish but TBH you just risk making more scratches or swirls IMHO.

My approach is;

Wet the car thoroughly. Wait a minute.
Snow foam the car. Wait 5-10 minutes.
Power wash the car clean.
Using the two bucket method, with grit guards in the bottom, use a lambswool mitt to clean the car.
Power wash the car again.
Use a very fluffy (e.g. CG Wolly Mammoth) cloth to pat the car clean.

Job done.. unless you now intend to seal/wax the car which really you'd only need to do once or perhaps twice a year at most. Before you did that, you'd need to further decontaminate the car/de-tar/claybar.

After drying i use megs last touch it's a detail spray that is very easy to use & help dry the car off. Great finish no streaks & perfect shine.
