hi,
i replaced my 108's with some 224's and am looking to sell my 108's..
ive seen mixed oppinions on peoples wheels so would just like some advice on what you would describe the condition of the wheels as and also what sort of price you think would be reasonable?
there is some paint flaked from inside the wheel nut holes and also a bit of a scrape around the edges from tyre fitment..
im after a price for the wheels alone without tyres and also a price with tyres on.. the rears have 7mm, fronts are 7.5mm

£250 wheels only / £400 with tyres ballpark figures give or take 10/20% for location , courier etc

I'm not an expert, but do have and have bought loads of wheels and tyres.

My take would be maybe £250 for the rims and the same for the Eagle F1's, so £500 for wheels and tyres.

I'm sure Mr Wilks may be the one with most experience in these matters, but I think that £150 for a set of F1's with good tread would be a bit more than £150 - just my opinion of course!

I did say give or take & you have to factor costs of removing tyres & possibly hassle / time having to sell in pairs ?
I agree the sale of wheels with tyres fitted may draw less cash  myself I would part them & draw the most but he did ask for price with tyres fitted & without ? not how much is a set of used Eagles likely to bring

thanks for the replys!
the reason i say with and without tyres is because id quite like to keep the tyres as spares for my 224's but the rears i would prefer to be 255/40 or 45/18
ive always gone for conti sports on my other cars but when these wheels were on i was very impressed with the lack or road noise and the grip..
i have mitchelin p3's on the rear currently and conti sports on the front (they came with the 224's)

i can remove the tyres from the alloys for free and sort that myself, just seems a shame when their all fitted and balanced as it would save someone a lot of money and hassle as these are decent quality tyres with decent tread and no uneven wear.

We agree on rims alone then?

Eagle F1's with 7/7.5mm tread either on or off the rims must be worth at least £250 give or take a bit?

[My local tyre dealer will fit or remove a full set for £20]

Well no loss to you offering them up as they stand & at a price you are happy with , you will know soon enough what their value is

If the tyres are the sizes that you want then get them taken off and sell the rims!

I myself wouldn't pay £250 for used set of Eagles when £300 gets you a brand new set of Uni RS3s but that's just me
From past experience the used value of tyres is more if sold separately in matching pairs  not thrown in to sweeten a set of wheels that have by the OPs admission blisters around bolt holes & some rim damage from tyre fitter
£500 for the set as is seems strong but if they sell for that then happy days ,
