After market wheel and tyre size check for my Z4M.

So I think I've found a set of wheels for my Z4MC in these sizes.

Front 19 x 8.5 et35 which would give them 13.4mm more poke out of the arches, fitted with 235 x 40 profile tyre.

Rear 19 x 9.5 et20 which would give 16.4mm more poke out of the arches, fitted with 265 x 35 profile tyres.

I'm lowered 25mm on H&R springs.

I'm pretty sure they'll be a good fit as I'm sure I've read that some of you guys run 15mm spacers on the standard wheels, but I thought I'd see if anyone could see a problem with them and my tyre size?

Cheers.

They would fit fine on OEM springs but lowered you may find a 35 profile on the front is needed if it catches the arch liner on compression or turning .

Wasn't really thinking the fronts would be a problem, but you've giving me something to think about there.

The the fronts would be running a 5.5mm bigger radius, so coupled with the wider wheel and 35mm offset it could be a problem.

Wonder if anyone else is running that set up and could confirm if they are getting any rub on the arch liner?

will work but need 235/35 265/30

Due to the reduced diameter of those tyres I'm starting to increase the arch gap after only just reducing it with the H&Rs. :(

I'm now wondering about keeping the standard 255 and 225 widths but with the decreased 35 and 40 profiles. Keeps the diameter pretty much the same as stock but with a slight stretch that should help arch clearance?

I wonder how much a 6.35mm stretch will look....

Could go 275/30 on the rear for another 5mm radius? Matches the radius of a 235/35 front and the slightly increased stagger won't matter for road use.

I'm running 235 35 19 fronts / 255 35 19 rears on same width wheels with no handling issues & actually made the speedo read more accurate than on the OEM 224s :?
"Cracker" is also running the same set up

Thanks. The rears in that pic don't seem to have to much of a stretched look.

Makes me think that the 1/2" extra wheel width over the standard tyre width is doable on the front too. 235 x 35 gives me an extra wheel arch gap on the front of 6mm and that is something I'd like to avoid increasing if possible.
