Hi mate! What do you mean one style? I've seen black backs, full chrome look, crystal etc.

Which ones?????

Get the black ones if you must.

Chrome looks shite.

I think the position of the drl makes them look like they have eyebrows, which is a bit vauxhall corsa/mcdonalds car park.

Hohhot pretty! What's the details on these?

Sorry about delay I bought them from http://www.2xcite.co.uk/ for £329.99 in Janurary but make sure your order RHD units, they do do them. They are very rarely advertised on their web site as they sell as soon as they come it. Ring them they might be able to help, simple to fit.

In fact in stock in their ebay shop in both black and chrome

Good luck

How good are these lights? Do they leak after a year or do the lights die prematurely?

Hi

Well my bad luck continues! After being happy with the new lights and checking them today, I can confirm they have condensation after just two weeks! Given that I wanted rid of the OEM for the same reason I was 100% accurate with the fitting. It only has two water entry points, one is a large rubber bung for the main beam and the other is a screw thread for the sides. Both are solid and in place, but I still have condensation :headbang:

I have emailed 2xcite to ask them RE warranty. Please stop the bad luck, I cant take anymore :driving:

Hi

Had a response:

"Hi
The reason for the condensation is either the items mentions in the instructions or maybe as u had problems before your engine is running hot and sucking in hot air that then condensatates
If it is on both lights then they are both reacting to the same conditions
Regards
Craig"

The simple reason why many opt for oem units instead.

Your best bet is to drill some drainage holes and stick some silica gel packets in the rear cap. While the cap is off, get a hair dryer to blow hot air inside the lap to remove as much of it as possible.

Go for OEM ones, de misting is easy with new rubber seals and some silica packets.
These aftermarket ones look a bit "Halfords" don't like them at all.

I have the exact same units with no condensation problems, dry them out well hairdrier etc and refit the seals with a smear of silicone grease or vaseline and all should be well, bung in some silica gel as well but make sure you can get them out to change them if need be.

Hi

I am fighting with 2xcite at present on the eBay message service. They state "Do not use silicone products as this will prevent the item from breathing"!!! I'm curious with your do you not find the main beam round bung pretty loose fitting?

I drilled some holes in my OEM lights after I fitted halos. Has worked a treat, never misted up since. The OEM lights already have holes in them but a few more done the trick.!!
