Hello Just joined looking for advice on getting the after market cupholders installed and where to get the stubby Arial as I see that is a must after reading through all these threads.
Another upgrade I've been thinking of doing is upgrading the headlights to the Angel eye can't seem to find anyone who has done it to there Z4.
Look forward to hearing from you all

Hi and welcome.

I can't help with the cup-holders as luckily mine came with them, but they do come up for sale on here from time to time.

Stubby aerial is NOT compulsory - "whippy v stubby" is one of the topics that tends to run forever.

Sorry I don't know about Angel Eyes either.

The other thing that is a must is to show us photos of your car.

How could I forget the compulsory newbie Pic & "Whippy v Stubby" sounds like a must read

Your car looks good, and those wheels are really different (in a good way)!

Stunning scenery in your 1st photo too.

Nice zed (especially the colour for some reason  ) Citroen stubby fit , if you don’t want to pay the BMW price. Do a search on halos or angel eyes and lots come up ( lots of time needed to do them it seems) cup holders ebay or gumtree or for sale on here for gen or one of the guys on here had some that wedged under the tunnel trim I think

Machine Monkey used to make them to wedge under the tunnel trim - I managed to get a pair for my 1st Z4. But he doesn't seem to be doing them anymore. :(

Thought it was Matt , but wasn’t 100% Sure Thanks

If your Z is pre 2005 the cruise is all there, you just need to install a switch and plug it in, no coding required either.

Yes, if your car is an 04 it should already have the wiring loom.

So all you need to do is buy the control stalk (get the part number from "realoem" or similar - either buy used from a breaker or if you need to get a new one try Sopers of Lincoln as they give a discount to forum members. Other BMWs use a similar stalk but as far as I know it has to be a Z4 specific one.

Then take off the bottom cover from the steering column and on the inside you should be able to see markings on the moulding showing which bit you need to cut out to fit the stalk.
