After a lot of talk . . . . . forum business card

Maybe I was unlucky. :(

I found most sports car owners are enthusiastic about cars and are quite nice people. Others are just arseholes with money and like shiny things. Get me some cards and I will try my luck again.

Ok here's my opinion !
Having spent over 24 years in marketing the cards are a great idea !
If we get 1 new member from every 100 cards that's a result !
Any idea that increases profile and membership is good marketing - I would quite happily have some to put on windscreen wipers - maybe have a "I got a card" section on the forum where new members would feel "welcome" by having a card from an existing member ? Just a thought

That's a good idea.... But also more to the point will give us an idea of how many people have registered because of the cards, and if they are actually affective.

Careful, you're going to start upsetting folk with that

...unless you move the idea to the e85/86 section only

Fortunately I've met other Zed owners that are enthusiasts and keen to talk and share their enthusiasm for the Zed

And then, yep, there are miserable gits

I appreciated the Lotus 7 guy giving me his contact card and inviting me on a run if I was ever in the area. Steph and me put together runs based around Newcastle for Zed owners and I think not every Zed owner will know and some may want to join us - if they're interested then I can hand over a card.

If they're not interested then we'll leave them alone - I can quickly tell who the miserable gits are - it's kind of obvious. . . . . . :P

:driving:

I think I fall in to both categories. I like talking to other enthusiasts and make contributions (which I hope are a welcome addition sometimes) to places like this, but am also a miserable git. :D
