For those that can't afFord the upcoming new shape GT. 8)

How about one of these for the daily drudge.

Sub 30k, 316 bhp & to my humble eye looks far better than the last one. :D

What's not to like?????????? :!:

In excess of 320hp actually.

Looks alright. Bit of a shame they couldn't give it widearches like the previous ones.

Think I prefer the new less aggressive look more.

I do like the look of the new one... And on paper it sounds great... Its just the interiors in fords i dont like... Designed for the mass market, cheap rattly plastic and then they throw in some recaro buckets...

Certainly not a nice place to sit inside for £30k.

This is definitely more exciting/tempting. Wonder if ford are booking in order slots yet . . . . .

I'm sure it will go well, but still a Ford and just aspirational for all the rep Focus drivers.

My £30k would find a much better home, albeit on say a 2 year old car.

I really like the Focus, its just the Barry Boy image that I can't get past, I prefer the less attention grabbing looks of my M135i :) just a shame it doesn't have 4WD :(

This one reason why I bought my Mazda3, same car, less chav image, better intirior. Though the interior is not as good as my old Mazda 323F. Interestingly, the new Focus RS, looks to be using the engine from the Mazda3 MPS, as a base, rather than the previous Volvo Unit.

This.... ^^^^

Yeah the Focus is ok. The Golf R400 concept below the article looked better. Doesn't matter how much lipstick you put on a warthog though..... it's still a warthog.

If I was spending £30k, I'd opt for something a little nicer than a Focus

So much arrogance in here it's unreal.

You all drive cheap, mass produced 2 seaters. Hardly the pinnacle of luxury.

Get over yourselves

+1 Yes the Z4 is a great car and we as owners love them and everybody gets enjoyment out of them but what do you think owners of Bentleys and the like think about our cars?

The Focus RS is a great car and I'm sure if you were to try one you would soon see that. The character of the mk2 2.5 engine is fantastic, pops, bangs and even fire balls at times! [emoji106][emoji592][emoji100]

Well said! Sometimes there's so much bowlocks on here! Just driven my wife's Focus some 90 miles. Nothing wrong with it at all and as for cheap interiors - do me a favour!

Had a focus ST before my Z - loved it

I like this one too. Though I'm not sure I'd pay £30k for it.

I had an an st3 also, bought it new and the interior was fine. I guarantee the recaro leathers and massively better than the sports seats in the Z4.

30k is a lot of money for one, although it'll hold it's value very well, judging by the prices of used mk1 and mk2 focus rs'.

£30K == Nissan GT-R

Yeah, great idea and sound advice... Oh wait, you won't get the bills from a Ford Focus that you'll end up with if you buy one of those bad boys though. Great toy, but when it comes down to it, it still has the maintenance costs of a £70k car
