It has been done before. Aeros go for silly money. Take them off, put replacements on, sell the car.

That’s what I mean. If I had the disposable cash. I would do it. No problem. Surely you would get your money back at least.

Why are they so hard to find? :? Surely there is a demand, and the demand should be met.

They are no longer made, or stocked, by BMW. They're simply not available new, and come up only very rarely used. I think a few people have looked into having them made, but you need a template and of course they are all attached to cars.
