SOLD AERO SKIRTS NEW

Sold
I'm amazed they took so long to sell. When I saw the advert for mine in December 2020 there were at least 3 others queued up if I didn't have them!

I'm sure I've never seen new ones for sale since then. I was lucky as mine were already painted the right colour. :D

Nobody likes a smart arse Mr Tidy….🫵

….i mean SIR….or whatever….😆😉

Now sold to me! Okay guys you now need to point me in the direction of guidance on how to fit them. I intend to a do a trial run before they are painted. I am not bad at these sorts of thing but there are bound to be hidden fasteners all over the place. Thank you

While I still can’t see a YT guide it seems as though there are two bolts each front and back in the wheel arches and pop rivets along the side. Then open door and lift free. Am I right or is there anything else I need to be wary of. When you can …… no rush …. Thanks

From memory (it’s been a while), they are easy enough to get off - no hidden fixings - but a little harder to get on. You have to get the door opening just right. Definitely worth a trial run with your existing covers, as you won’t want to damage that new paint.

Clive, when I got mine I found a small bolt in each front wheel-arch and a cross-head screw near the back underneath, the rest is all just clipped. But best to make sure you have some spare clips because you won't get them all out intact!

I fitted mine a couple of months back. Didn’t need any new clips, taking the old ones off is indeed those two screw thingies out and just pull. Fitting the new ones, slide the clips in the groves at the back of the skirts and push it in the holes of the car.

Aren't you forgetting the expanding rivets along the bottom too?
'Just pull' with those still in place could cause a bit of damage.
