Not mine but I’m sure someone here will snap them up

That's ridiculous money , especially seeing as the scratches " May" polish out. Personally I don't think these things are worth it . There are many other mods you could do for the money that would be more noticeable and enjoyable. :driving:

Not so long ago someone came on here offering £1000 for a set so it seems on the money, if not absolutely ridiculous

Agree with the above, for a brief moment I did consider it, but when you take in to account repainting them would be a couple of hundred it would be an expensive mod.
However I reckon they could sell close to a grand as people are desperate for these

I got offered a grand for mine from a member here... I paid £300 for them brand new not fitted which I thought was over the odds I thought... a grand is nuts. Supply and demand, and I bet they go. :o

i paid a 1100€ in exchange for my non-aero skirts. this is news from 3 weeks ago. you just have to accept the on-going rate for these things. I find that it does make a huge difference to the car and therefore I was willing to pay silly money for it.

Makes this aerokitted E85 seem a good prospect  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-Convertible-3-0-SE/153850293660?hash=item23d2312d9c:g:RpUAAOSwegReW9~k

Not sure I prefer it to standard.
Looks a bit like an S2000.

I think that's the thing, if you want the finishing touches then there are limited options. The copy ones don't seem to be much good and after shipping and taxes they will still dent the wallet. At least OEM ones will fit straight on and they were about £450-500 anyway from BMW and would need painting..

I used to be into Lancia Delta Integrale EVO's. I had four in total and regret selling years ago but anyway, once Fiat stopped producing parts the values of parts skyrocketed. They make Z4 parts look like pennies by comparison as costs have multiplied by a factor of 10 and even 20 for certain items. Maybe in the future rarer Z4 parts will do the same?

In the end especially for say a Z4MC which is desirable and likely to stay valuable it is a smaller percentage investment that gives the finished look the car probably should have had from the factory. They can always be removed again later I suppose like is done with carbon Air intakes, strut braces, Msport seats, CSL wheels etc and a return made when selling a car... I sometimes used to think (shortsightedly) that once I'd bought a tuning part for what seemed silly money l'd wasted it and itwas gone forever. There's always a new buyer out there later on to get something back...

I've got Aeros on my car and love the look...
