I can’t help you with a price but just wanted to piggy back on your question. I am so stupid I do not even know what a aero kit is and why you need one. :( In the answers you get maybe someone could enlighten me. Thanks

tedster. Asking BMW to supply and fit - you're obviously in need of some serious therapy

Just looking a tthe brochure prices for standard front supply of lip, side skirts and rear diffuser at around £850 my wild guess for a genuine aero kit supplied, painted and fitted would be £2500 -£3000 from BMW themselves

Just my wild guess and would love to be proven way off.....

cheers jeeper i know they are going to be silly money i just cant seem to find anyone who does decent kit for the z4 i dont want some big crazy body kit just a nice suttle change to make the front end a bit more aggresive and some tidy side skirts defo going get something done as theres a few stone chips on my front bumper which really p**s me off

You'll be able to fit the side skirts yourself, so maybe just get a price for the front spoiler only.

Hey - just call them and ask. Got to be worth the laugh to see how much for parts only then labout at £80/hr plus VAT.

As Mike says fit it yourself. Buy the bits and get them sprayed then in a couple of hours fit them. If you take the parts to a local spray shop the price will be reasonable and quality really good. As a rough benchmark say £150 to £200 for a good job on the front bumper cover so I'd reckon £300 for a batch of all of them.

You can order the parts pre painted. I ordered the aero skirts in Sterling Grey and fitted them myself but I can't remember the price difference between painted and standard. It saves a lot of hassle though.

Hello all--

I am awaiting my 3rd quote for the Aero bumper and side skirts for my 03 Z4
After much help from you all---I am awaiting another installed price for the 3 pieces, bumper and side skirts---
Including painting and install.

Will advise when I get my 3rd quote---I agree doing it yourself will save much$$ or Euro :D

Special thanks to 20 Ducks for your photos--- :D :D

So just got some good news-----Contacted a highly recommended Body Shop near Charlotte, NC called Matthews Township Collision, the owner is knowledgeable and they have done many facelifts on BMW's and have been in Business since 1998, The price for the Aero Bumper intalled and painted out the door price is 850.00    All the other 2 shops-- I contacted came in at 1200.00 including the dealer.

You folks were 100% correct on saying the 1200 was 2-much

They said they would have my car for 3-days---I think I am going to do it :D

Thanks again! :D

Check out this months photo contest, Z4dsun has a photo of the 3 Z's on his picture, Nice shot of the Zed with and without the Aero Bumper! http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3772

finally got round to ringing BMW today for the aero kit prices i was very surprised

to supply aero kit £750 (comes pre primered)
to paint the aero kit a further £450
to paint and fit £595

all prices include vat

i thought for main dealer this wasnt to bad.

So £1350 fitted then, that's not too bad really. Are you going to get it then? Watch your insurance hike too.

What's everyone keep mentioning the fitted word for? I know items such as the hood can be adjusted and off center but I was not aware the bumper was the same way. Is this the case?

Probably just UK terminology. 'Fitted' simply means they do the labour and bolt it on as opposed to supply only.

In terms of adjustment there is some, albeit limited that the front edge can be pulled in or out to maintain the correct hood to bumper gap. Other adjustment is done by moving the headlaights around so they fit.

K gotcha. Only reason I asked is I'm thinking about doing this once I sell the truck. I was thinking about DIY.
