Aero Kit or not?

Recently drove into a high kerb :cry:

Cracked the paint on the lower right front bumper, ripped-out the inner wing studs on the wheel arch and pushed-in the black mesh from behind the bumper. In addition, I can feel bits of plastic inside the bumper from the holes below - so I've trashed a bracket or something inside.

So.....I have a dilemma. Should I have my bumper fixed or maybe take this as an opportunity to fit the BMW Aero Kit?

I love the look of the standard car, but can't help lusting after the more agressive and overtly sporty look of the Aero kit.

It's a lot of money, though but maybe worth it?

I would appreciate opinions on the Aero Kit and estimates of costs please :thumbsup:
 
I reckon u can get IRS reaprayed and fitted for 3-400. I did something similar if u search for the the thread - I'm a clot an I've ruined my car - u can see the damage! As for the aero kit I'm not a fan but if u like it u should get a cost estimate and then decide what u want. Dont go to BMW tho!!

The listed price I've just looked-up from BMW (all dealerships) for the Aero kit is £766.31, which is for the front bumper, side skirts and rear diffuser - the boot spoiler is £131.00 extra.

I wondered if Members may have been able to get it from Sopers or elsewhere for less?

If it is as they list (just under £900.00) for the lot, how much extra should I allow for spraying & fitting?

Probably wouldn't add a penny to resale value, though :cry:
 
Insurance could be much higher. Even adding pair of side skirts can put your insurance up by £200 (some forum members said before).
