Advice on Selling

Hi All

I have joined the forum looking for a bit of advice

I bought a Z4 two and a half years ago and am now looking to sell it

Having looked through some of the topics on here I didn’t realise there was so many different variants of the Z4

I can see that they are bought and sold through this forum but I suspect that most people on here already own one

First question is where is the best place to advertise the car ?

Second question is what sort of price might I expect to get ?

I think the car is a standard Z4

2003 model 2.5 manual five speed

Very good condition and roof full functional

Silver with black roof and black interior

Just under 70,000 miles and just gone through MOT

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

your best option would be to go through the sales section and look what similar cars have sold for.
possibly check other sales outlets for comparison.
bear in mind you are selling to a very knowledgeable audience on here, so a good honest advert is a must.
post up some pictures by all means and people will offer advice.

Welcome to the forum. Always worth posting an advert here. Then the usual popular sites for sports cars. Piston Heads and good old autotrader. Worth browsing those sites before hand looking at similar cars, to get a feel for the market rate.

I paid £4200 for the car

I have had my fun with it and not desperate to get top dollar but hope it will go to a good home. I keep it in the garage and it only comes out on dry days

I was hoping it might be worth £3000 which sounds like it probably is

Will ask around and see if somebody will give me £2500 before I go down the route of taking photos and advertising it

Why not take some photos and advertise on here?
Service history? Service book?
Car reg?
If you post the vin number the spec can be obtained unless you can do this yourself? Would all help massively to sell
