interesting, its definitely got a few of them, minus aero skirts which apparently do not come with the z4m as standard anyway unless you purchase them, lol I would say though that these cars are more about performance and driving than being able to see the track you are listening too, and one with lower mileage which is in good working order takes priority over one with higher mileage which has a dated and notoriously incompetent sat navpvr said:
I have heard that actually, in order to get the performance out of the e92 you need to take it to the upper revs, if I didn't have the vx220 I wouldn't sell the z4m, but in terms of appreciation the vx is increasing quickly, I bought it for 12k last year and its worth around 16 now already. Having two verts seems like overkill and so should sell one of them and replace with a car which has more practicality and refinement. I did consider selling the vx but as mentioned financially this would be the wrong decision I think. Somebody has mentioned during this thread that the z4m hasn't finished depreciating yet.tomscott said:

Plus the vx I have has a decent spec as far as vx's go with me being only the second owner.As for drivability, the z4m ticks all the boxes, great sound, plenty of power and torque with enough refinement to prevent discomfort. The vx in stock form in my opinion is overrated, it has a terrible flat spot at 4k revs which needs a stage 1 remap to sort out, I needed to take the vx220 turbo to stage 2 in order for it to surpass the performance of the z4m in a straight line. The vx is literally like a go kart which is an occasion to drive every time you take it out, it really is good fun and the sudden power delivery from the turbo puts a smile on your face each time it kicks in. But so does the smooth continual power delivery of the z4m with the amazing sound of the s54. As i say, its only down to the value of the cars really that is making me choose to keep the vx. If the e92 is a disappointment for me then ill prob end up getting another z4m in winter next year in the hope of getting another cracking example. I have considered selling the vx and having two M cars but i figured i should have one turbo and one aspirated, so the vx and e92 seems like a good combination.tomscott said:

I have had equally as many if not more telling me 12k is too low hence the original post. I could guarentee the same people who are telling me to sell at 12k wouldnt sell their z4m at that price if it had the same mileage etc, not to mention there is some bias within this comments thread which has been exposed via conversations ive had. This doesnt mean i wont sell at 12k as i have a buyer already who no doubt is commenting on here also and they have made an honest offer. One thing i have noticed since putting my car up for sale is that the z4m enthusiasts who will continually praise these cars are the first to pull them apart when they want to buy one and i believe this can have deterimental affects to the potential appreciation of all z4m roadsters.Number5 said:For Christ sake ! Given the spec and details, the majority here seem to be telling you its a reasonable offer. If so, do the deal before you lose the buyer, if not keep it, but either way, make up your mind.
