Main extras:

- PDC
- Heated seats
- Pro logic HIFI
- Folding / dimming mirrors
- Extended leather
- Cruise control
- Aero skirts
- Blue Tooth

Missing the NAV means missing:

- Phonebook on screen
- Music on screen
- Extra board computer functions.
- Integration option with iPhone with Intravee via screen
interesting, its definitely got a few of them, minus aero skirts which apparently do not come with the z4m as standard anyway unless you purchase them, lol I would say though that these cars are more about performance and driving than being able to see the track you are listening too, and one with lower mileage which is in good working order takes priority over one with higher mileage which has a dated and notoriously incompetent sat nav :D

The e92 M3 will be a bit of disappointment compared to the Z its pretty much the opposite in every way.

They feel heavy and big, lackluster when pootling around or as use as a daily. They dont really sing unless you are gunning it all the time but the rev line is so high your destroying the speed limit when you do.

The engine is a masterpiece what surrounds it is not. On the positive side 5 seats a big boot and the noise are all great qualities. Always much preferred the E46 like a go cart in comparison. The Z is like a more ragedy on the edge E46 and far rarer unless you need the space i would give it a skip.
I have heard that actually, in order to get the performance out of the e92 you need to take it to the upper revs, if I didn't have the vx220 I wouldn't sell the z4m, but in terms of appreciation the vx is increasing quickly, I bought it for 12k last year and its worth around 16 now already. Having two verts seems like overkill and so should sell one of them and replace with a car which has more practicality and refinement. I did consider selling the vx but as mentioned financially this would be the wrong decision I think. Somebody has mentioned during this thread that the z4m hasn't finished depreciating yet.

They just wernt designed for the UK market it was made to appeal to the US market. Although they are great they just arent the same and super thirst when golfs and minis will be barking at your heels. In a straight line they are balistic and great fun but like I said you really have to be at 4k+ for it to feel fast whereas the S54 has 90% of its torque from 2k.

If they had put the V8 in another shape I think it would have made for some great cars just the E92 is a bit of a miss for me. I grew up with E46 M3s and E92s and the E46s were by far my favorite. Much more fun to drive.

The Z4m roady is literally the M car bargain and IMO i cant really see them depreciate much more. For example the only thing comparable for the money is an E46 M3 vert and they are absolutely awful, truly awful to drive the whole chassis flexes over every bump. Or a super leggy E46 M3 SMG, there are no manuals even close to 12k with 65k on them.

The Z4M being designed from the ground up to be a roady its better in every respect. Similar to the Z3M it will take a lot longer to start on the up curve so I cant see them appreciating any time soon but hovering around where they are. So you could leave and come back without much penalty. There will be a time soon when the penny will drop and they will start appreciating.

The thing with every car is its worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I understand the VX is ballistic but it cant touch the Z for a well rounded package with the prestige, comfort and build quality compared to the kit car feel of the VX.

yes I totally agree with you, I prefer the z4m without a doubt, I'm only selling the z4m as its not worth as much as the vx and I believe the vx will appreciate faster and to higher figures. Plus the vx I have has a decent spec as far as vx's go with me being only the second owner. As for drivability, the z4m ticks all the boxes, great sound, plenty of power and torque with enough refinement to prevent discomfort. The vx in stock form in my opinion is overrated, it has a terrible flat spot at 4k revs which needs a stage 1 remap to sort out, I needed to take the vx220 turbo to stage 2 in order for it to surpass the performance of the z4m in a straight line. The vx is literally like a go kart which is an occasion to drive every time you take it out, it really is good fun and the sudden power delivery from the turbo puts a smile on your face each time it kicks in. But so does the smooth continual power delivery of the z4m with the amazing sound of the s54. As i say, its only down to the value of the cars really that is making me choose to keep the vx. If the e92 is a disappointment for me then ill prob end up getting another z4m in winter next year in the hope of getting another cracking example. I have considered selling the vx and having two M cars but i figured i should have one turbo and one aspirated, so the vx and e92 seems like a good combination.

It's silver , boggo spec and needs imminent work

At £12k I would be taking the deal

Quickly !!!

I would say that is bang on 12k seems very fair to me.

Is that a dealer offer or private offer by the way?
im curious, could you show me another z4m roadster in very good condition with 65k being sold for 12k??
Plus i dont see why i should take it..."quickly" seeing as getting 12k for it would be easy during summer....

He is implying if you offload it now for X or wait 3 months potentially have an issue and loose the x you would have gained. Either way the thread was about the price in which you should sell the car. Opinions have been given, these cars are niche so its worth what it is to the buyer and what maybe 1000 people in the UK are interested in the long term investment or performance of an MR. You will need to wait for the right buyer for the right price same as a house. Else lower the money and anyone will buy it as a mainstream car they see as good value.

Just my opinion ofcourse.

For Christ sake ! Is it for sale or not and are you happy with the amount offered?
Given the spec and details, the majority here seem to be telling you its a reasonable offer. If so, do the deal before you lose the buyer, if not keep it, but either way, make up your mind. :headbang:

lol No need to get emotional, i asked for advice which has been given and i have taken it under advisement, having started the comments thread i can reply to any comment i wish with my own perspective, i dont see why this would provoke little angry emojis. lol The majority of people who have commented which has been about 6 do not qualify as the majority of z4m owners. I have had equally as many if not more telling me 12k is too low hence the original post. I could guarentee the same people who are telling me to sell at 12k wouldnt sell their z4m at that price if it had the same mileage etc, not to mention there is some bias within this comments thread which has been exposed via conversations ive had. This doesnt mean i wont sell at 12k as i have a buyer already who no doubt is commenting on here also and they have made an honest offer. One thing i have noticed since putting my car up for sale is that the z4m enthusiasts who will continually praise these cars are the first to pull them apart when they want to buy one and i believe this can have deterimental affects to the potential appreciation of all z4m roadsters.
