Hi,
I took my car in to the dealer on Thursday, whilst it was there they advised I needed the rear brakes sorting out.
The quoted £470 for supply and fit of rear discs, pads, wear sensors and to also change the shoes (handbrake I presume?). Then also £80 for a brake fluid change.
I didn't feel like splashing out £550 all in one go so I figured I'd try and buy the parts (or equivalent) myself and get a local small garage to fit them.
Does anyone have any opinions on these parts/prices:
The sensors haven't come on yet, are they easy to "save" or should I just replace them? Also, would 1 x brake fluid be enough?
The parts come to £252 - I'm presuming an indy garage would do the work for less than £300?!
Any advice greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Darren
