Advice on picking new car

I'm supposed to be picking up my Z4 tomorrow
It's on private plates and is in the middle of the process of being swapped over, but none of the documents have come back with the old number yet, and I could really do with picking it up tomorrow . Question is if I get insured with the private number plate on am I okay to drive it back because the tax and mot may of already been changed on the system to a different number

Personally I wouldn't pick it up until you've received confirmation of the new registration number. This is why it is better to deal with the switchover by visiting the DVLA Local Office.

Plus you will have to pay your insurer again to change the number plate..... A few days will fly by

Ok didn't get the car today will pick it up next Saturday now if all goes to plan :grin: 125 miles to pick up can't wait to drive her back
