Advice on lowering

Hey guys got my lovely new csl reps on today, but now it certainly needs lowering to finish it off was thinking only 15/20mm as the rear wheels do sit just outside the arch and I don't want to be scrubbing or to have to roll the arches, obviously my first port of call would be just replacement springs, in that case what ones would people advise? If springs Arnt really that greatly looked on here what full suspension systems are recommended ? I'd obviously prefer just a spring replacement due to cost and this car isn't pushed hard etc so no need for amazingly handling, many thanks :)

Set of Eibach (sportline I think) springs should do the trick. They'll lower your motor approx 15mm, assuming yours is a "Sport" model

Get coilovers, triple the price but triple the improved ride, mine has springs and guess what........there goin for coils eventually.

But if price is the limiting factor, one would be better off with better quality springs than a budget coilover kit (which are all plagued with leaking dampers and seized adjusting collars etc).

Anyone got a link for a place for me to get hold of these 15mm ones? :)

Demon tweaks, venom motorsport, and all the others that offer them. Put some work into it and email all of them the cheapest price you've found and ask them to beat it.

Having just done the same for a set of coilovers for my track car, of the main bunch, venom were more than happy to price match (well they beat the cheapest by £3, immaterial in the grand scheme of things but I see it as a coffee on them! )

I can't seam to find 15mm ones? Or is it the 30 mm as mines the sport and already 15mm lowering than non sport already?

Went for z4m wheels from Chris at cmwheels so 27 ofset certainly no spacers needed! Love the aggressive stance it's created :p

Yes the Eibach ones are 30mm, but on a sport model, it only lowers 15mm

Just out of curiosity what about new spring and shock set up? Any of them well rated instead of going to the whole hog of coilovers?

I think that will rub if lowered, I stand to be corrected but many guys with ///M rear offset CSLs on a regular Z have had to roll their rear arches to accommodate.

Eibach pro kit is a 20mm drop if you already had ///M sport springs btw

I had rubbing on mine with Eibachs and spacers, but only the front and mainly the driver side. But I only had 18s on.

It may just be me being 'old', but I honestly think that looks low enough anyway :?

Mine also even on the rears now I'm on 224s

I was looking at doing this but once you add up the shocks and the springs your not that fair off a set of coilovers which you'll be able to adjust.

So I'm guessing everyone on here that's got smaller ofset/spacered rears and lowered with this kit has experienced rubbing? Is there any springs out there to give me just a 10mm drop?
