Advice on ISTA P Nottingham

I've just retrofitted the passenger airbag shutoff to my car and it will need reprogramming and the airbag light clearing (unplugged the seat without disconnecting battery). I'm trying to weigh up buying the cable and software against finding someone who can do it for me.

My question is how easy is INPA/ISTA to install/use there is a couple of other bits I'd like to play with if I had the software (roof opening from remote/testing VANOS etc). If it's cheap enough to find a lead and the software, am I just as easy to do it myself or am I likely to screw something up if I've not used it before?

Alternatively, is there anyone in or around the Nottingham area who would be able to do this before I get a price from BM Centre?
 
I got ISTA for like £5 off ebay, easy enough to navigate but haven't cabled up and done anything hardcore. Sure there are probs guides on coding bits and bobs on here or willing advisors :thumbsup:
 
BM Centre has always been a good, reliable bet for me. There is a great auto-electric company in Leicester (https://www.sancarsauto.com/) that sorted my passenger door lock relay system out when BM Centre couldn't find the problem, if that not too far. They may be able to help you. Cheers.
