Advice on dent repair?

Some nice person decided to hit my Zed while parked and drive off :headbang:
It now has a lovely dent on the driver side rear quarter panel. I would like to try and do the repair myself since the paint work is not major.

Just trying to figure out if I can get behind the quarter panel by removing the rear wheel arch? Would appreciate it, if anyone can provide guidance?

Also, any tips on paintwork? I was planning on getting a touch up kit off fleabay. I saw a few vids on YT and now feel like a professional painter
But seriously, its a london car and so needs a full respray really.

TIA

I'm afraid that will be a paint job repair. No chance of a PDR repair in that location and with paint missing.

Silver is a hard colour to match. I suspect any attempts you make to touch up will stand out.

It is a body shop job.

Thanks Beerman.

I want to try and deal with the dents first. If I can get it back to 80% I will be happy enough. Then I will get it painted.
The bodywork is pretty rough tbh. So I'm not super concerned if its not perfectly repaired.

I saw on a YT video that you can get pretty good access with the arch removed. Will give it a go by the weekend

Sorry your car was hit, I’ve had this and it is so annoying! IMHO Seems daft to paint a bad repair. It’s your car but seems the only logical options are to fix properly or leave as is.
