i,

I went to a local dealer and was looking at a 2005 MB c230 white kompressor sports packqage. Really nice car, has all the bell and whistles , xenon hid leveling, staggered wheel. So I took it for a test drive. it was ok for me, quick but did not have that fun factor. Alot of people I talk to like the 2005 with kopressor but for me it just looks good.

I also saw this 2004 z4 2.5i with sports package and premium package.. I took it for a test drive and wow I fell in love! It has a sports button, which I can feel a difference. the handling is awesome. and the power and torque you can really feel. I was hooked. Its black with tan interior, and tan top. The only thing that is holding me back is the tan top.. I wish it was black.

Is it easy to change the top and how much is it for a new top? I never did see a black z4 with a tan top, but after looking at if for a while it looks fine more lux looking, the black makes it look more sporty. It has 54,000 and carfax showed it was maintained and serviced at 47000. The exterior looks good, minor hood chips marks, didnt notice any major scratches or dents.
As for gas mpg, what kind of mpg do you get?

I have a 2000 ford expedition so this car will be used to commute to work and back.

Need your feedback?

Big job to swap the roof, there's details on here but you would realistically be only swapping it for a fault, not because of the colour.

In UK MPG I think the 2.5i is somewhere around 32-34mpg, not sure how that works out, but it's obviously pretty much the most frugal of the range.

They're largely bomb proof - only thing can be the roof motor getting a little wet on very early ones, but in the US I wouldn't expect it to be as prevalent.

Enjoy a great car !

26-27mpg US gallons. They only have the 2.5 and 3.0 in the USA Z3 and Z4 IIRC.

Tan roofs are pretty common in the US. My Z3 (Black with black and red interior) had one initially, it was a horrible combo! The first owner had the sense to get it changed under warranty though...

If it was something that was easy to replace; like the alloys I'd say go for it.

But if you're not 100% on the hood colour - I say hold out until you find one that really makes you happy!

Mine's black inside, black outside & a black hood. I love it.
