Advice needed

Hello!

I was just wondering if you guys could give me some advice. im currently looking at purchasing a 2003 z4, but can't decide on what engine size to get... 3 Litre or 2.5?

iv been looking on auto trader and parkers, and on the performance and economy sections there doesn't seem to be a great difference in MPG, is this really the case? if so is it worth losing a tiny bit of MPG for the 3 Litre? What kind of MPG should I be expecting? for motorway driving and through town?

Also are there any common problems that I should be wary of when buying one?

Thanks for the replies guys. Think im going to test drive them both on Saturday, then make up my mind. Swinging firmly towards the 3 Litre at the mo. :D
 
If you can, go for the 3.0i.

Nothing wrong with the 2.5. I test drove the 2.5 and 3.0 before buying, and the 3.0 is noticably better IMHO :thumbsup:
 
Other than perhaps insurance and price, there is no benefit to the 2.5l engine. MPG, parts and servicing are the same.

You also get more kit as standard on a 3.0se
