Advice - About to purchase a CPO 2006 Roadster

I am looking currently to purchase a used certified pre owned 2006 Roadster. Never having owned one, but wanting one for many years, does anyone have any advice to watch out for buying in the US? Someone told me to avoid a tan roof as it shows all the dirt, etc, as the car will not be garage kept. Any other advice?

Should be quite a few 2006's coming off lease about now so wait until you find one with the specification that you want. I have always gone with black tops as IMO they are easier to keep clean.
 
have a look at the service record and see if it has had a replacement steering rack with the upgraded part if not make shure you have a good warrantee if it needs replacing as I have had this problem with my car I have had a slk and a boxter before you wont regret a z4 :driving:
