Adverse weather and the zed

Having just been caught in the most AMAZING thunder/hail storm whilst out getting the weekly shop, I can make the following observations :

1. The window going down on the driver's side when you open the door has always seemed a bit pointless to me, and today proved annoying. I opened the door, the window with loads of built up hailstones on it went down and the lot was deposited on the driver's seat.
2. Even at close to zero degrees and flooding on the road, a Zed with winters on being driven sensibly will behave well.
3. Unrelated to Zeds, before you feel smug about wearing waterproof eyeliner when you are soaked to the skin, look at yourself in the mirror to make sure that your mascara was too....... :headbang:

I have just put a new set of falken 453s on my z4c as its my dd and the traction light was becoming a permanent feature :D but the Zed does well in every condition ive been in, Iooking forward to see how it does in snow :)

The windows going down is because you pressed the unlock button twice. It's a useful feature when in a confined space such as a garage.

AHA.... to be fair, I had made a run for the car and was just desperate to get in. I was being hailed on at the time, and lightning was right overhead ( and you all know my concerns regarding lightning).

When there's lightning about, safest place to be is sat in the car.

(Caviat:- Does not work for the E85 Roadster. You need a metal roof, which must be linked, by electric string, to the chasis, on either side. So may not work in any convertable come to think about it.)
