They're 3 piece forged so always gonna be pricey.

Off topic but nice M4 Brakes btw, was that a lot of work? With an e9x rotor?

They're actually stoptech brakes, just painted over and added the M stickers.

For those that are going wide eyed about the asking price, these were around £5000 brand new before shipping when they were purchased 3 years ago. Do a google search and check the prices for yourself...

I expected that it would be difficult to sell the set of wheels because they were so expensive to begin with. What I did NOT expect, especially on this forum, was people coming in and pissing on my thread without even understanding what it is I'm selling.

Now it's not like I bought this cheap and trying to flip it to make a quick buck off the folks on the forum. Work in the shipping costs and I'm effectively losing more than £2000. This amount may or may not be significant to you, but I think my asking price is fair so I don't see why I deserve the sarcastic comments?

I am more than happy to answer genuine queries about the wheels. If you have snide remarks to make, I would appreciate that you please keep them to yourself though.

Id assume many or most of the comments aren't snide or intended to ruin your thread
£3k is a lot of money for a set of used wheels so maybe worthwhile offering some details as to their usp in order for folks to grasp exactly why they're so much more than say a genuine set of CSLs that would be half the price brand new :?
If its their rarity or strength say so , if its their weight then add what it is they weigh ? otherwise from my perspective & from most others i guess they look like any other set of aftermarket alloys

There are alternative sites to sell stuff where there won't be comments

I fail to see how the comment, loosing 2000 pounds is of any relevance.
You don’t expect a set of second hand wheels, with at least one needing a refurbishment, to be worth what you paid for them.
As has been pointed out, more details may help your sale:
I wish you well with your sale.

Ive always enjoyed reading this forum, including all sorts of stuff for sale that I either can’t afford, not to my taste or don’t have knowledge of in general. But for some reason, over the last year I’ve noticed I have to trawl through more posts of little value that aren’t ‘banter’ but just snide. It just seems a shame as it makes the place feel far less friendly and inclusive than it once was.

Not saying it doesn't happen as it clearly does but id like to think across the board there are as many positive comments on sale threads as there are negatives ?
Negative comments can also help a sale as over time it brings posts back to the attention of the general forum who may have missed them
To be blunt RE this particular one , attempting to float a £3k+ set of alloys with a blase advert was never going to end well :(
Ive seen better for shabby 108s
