"Adulthood" ...UK movie

I have a good ear for dialects etc but this movie's characters had the most challenging for me to understand. My years of living in the UK taught me to always expect something new, something difficult. This one tested my ability to figure out what they were talking about much of the time. Are my ears not what they used to be or was this demanding for others as well? Will my Z4 brotha's please tell me their own comments and opinions of the youth and the lexicon used in this movie.

Cheers,
Greg

Looks like I'm the only one who has seen this movie. Mind you, I like art house flicks as well as main stream ones:

so far this month:

Quarantine: terrible, take dramamine before watching
Indiana Jones & ...: worse Harrison Ford movie to date
Passages of a Fool: excellent Daniel Craig movie
Cloverfield: great movie for the 13-21 demographic
The Duchess: love this period piece
Transporter 3: bloody awful, thank gawd they used Audi's
Wall-E: very entertaining....kinda
Angus, Thongs and ....: watched 8 minutes and shut it off
Hancock: watching this today
Pieces of April: interesting and well acted movie. K. Holmes pre Cruise
Quantum of Solice: James Bond morphed into Jason Stratham. I like this new 007
Dark Knight: repeat watch of this extremely dark movie. Very deep.
Adulthood: Highly rated so I got it. If only I could understand some of it.

Ahh that's good old "Saaf" and Eastern Greater London accents for you there mate. Just looking at the trailer on You-tube and even I was having some difficulty (although the video/audio synch wasn't the best!). Maybe Subs would help? Either way, I don't really get these films - it looks like Train-spotting, which I absolutely hated!

Not seen Adulthood but the first film in this series was just the same - kidulthood.

I actually enjoyed kidulthood though - but I detest the way dialect is going in the UK
