Adjusting window drop on opening

Anyone know if it is possible to adjust the amount the windows drop when you open the door?

I have a problem in that my windows don't drop enough to allow them to seal correctly when they raise up again after the door is closed. Consequently i get wind noise from the seal and have to lower the window a fraction and close it again. When i do this with the door closed i get a 'thunk' type sound as if the glass is being pushed out by something before the window is dropped.

I've tried the window reset routine and its made no difference. The glass definitely does drop when the door is opened and goes back up correctly when the door is closed.

I would think that you might need to remove the door card and adjust something within the door to make such an adjustment.

The two blind grommets on the bottom of the door are easy to get to, I would start there to see if you can adjust appropriately, before doing the other adjustments.
