Adjusting Seat Belt Height

Hi all, got a coupe - does anyone know how to adjust the seat belt height?

It comes over my dads neck and is quite uncomfortable for him. Looked through the manual and tried the obvious things..

Also did a search on here but couldnt find anything..

Looking at JDM's pics, I think you have the same type of seats as the roadster Si - which means you can't. I'm a short arse and the belt cuts into my neck if I am wearing anything without a collar, so I have some of those leather seat belt pads, non-sparco-chav type.

HI,

Not sure about the coupe, but on the roadster you can't. It's a real pain in the neck during the summer when wearing t-shirts! I bought some belt pads which work great, think I got them in Tesco for a few quid.

I'm not short at all and the stupid thing still rubs my neck. I try to always wear collared shirts when driving. Terrible ergonomics. Thanks BMW.

Truth be told, I'm mostly legs, so maybe I 'sit' short? :?

either pads or just get your da to raise the seat till its comfy im ok im fairly tall and with the seat on its bottom setting its ok for me but when my da gets in he just adjusts the seat , but as others have said maybe the pads i know you can get some nice ones from recaro its been covered on here before from memory please dont quote me on this but i think you can find it on their site under the kids or misc section , hope this helps :)
