Adding bluetooth

Hi guys

After picking up my Z4 yesterday, and as I will be using it for work at times I need to consider adding Bluetooth.

Ideally I want to make calls and stream music, does anyone have any suggestions of what works well?

Thanks

Wes

I just added an aftermarket head unit with bluetooth connectivity. Don't know if it would be suitable for your needs but it works flawlessly for me. It streams music from phone etc. but i generally have all my music on flash drives, the unit i have as also got usb connectivity.

The H/U looks a bit shabby in this pic  but it looks a lot nicer in daylight.

I have the parrot, perfect for work, as it can have 2 phones connected the same time. Easy to fit also :)

Think its a MKi9200

Mediabridge looks like a handy piece of kit.....Does it come with a mic or do you use your phone nearby?

Looking at the site does doesn't appear to come with a mic, and with no easy place to store an Iphone 6 can people hear you when on the phone easily?

According to this supplier, a microphone is included: "Hear calls through your car's speakers and talk back through the included microphone."

Thanks for all the info....Mediabridge looks like the winner!

Anyone tried to install a mic on a similar unit? Im fine with the unit itself, its always the tricky feeding the mc round the car job I get lost with!

Be careful locating the mic, especially if you have a roadster, due to noise when the top's down. The OEM hands free is mounted on the steering column - don't know if you can fit your mic in a similar position?

I put in a temp workaround which was a small dongle in the aux socket to see how it worked with the phone for streaming and hands free. The little gadget works so well I haven't put in anything wired and it cost a tenner
