Hi, ive looked at them too but they are about 50% more expensive for something that appears to do the same job, hence my question about alternatives. Thanks for the reply, i will go and have a read up on both.
I've got a Grom USB model which integrates nicely as a CD changer and has optional bluetooth. The problem for me with the bluetooth model is that using a phone to play media won't give you track info text on the radio display (normal Business radio), and I don't have an iPod. The USB model shows the track info on the radio display, so I just used a USB stick with all my music on. I believe the iPod one will also give the track text, but you'll want to check that the model you've linked will give you the track text if you want it from the iPod (it won't from the phone).
Installation is easy enough and I bought mine from the shop you've linked to. Control from the radio is easy and things like shuffle still work too.
Marvin, much appreciated, thanks very much, gives me a couple of questions when i go to the shop. Dont see the text thing being a big issue, we tend to just have music in the background, its the phone side of things we really need.
