Addiction to Drugs & alcohol... & my confession

$2,700 :o

I don't think you could buy the parts pre-leathered now, and to do all that you'd need to take out pretty much all the interior trim. You can do almost anything to your interior if you have the money, but if it costs £700 to get seats re-leathered you can bet your ass doing that to your car will cost the same as a decent leather sofa and chairs...

I serisouly think it's worth 2700 dollars....

Allan, that's one of the best threads I've seen

Deleted my last post - was out of context :D

I saw that thread ages and ages ago, loved it - and it was the source of my Imola obsession. To be honest though, 2 tricks were missed -

- BMW should have offered the option to leather the dash top and other black trim round the dash

- Starscream didn't spec the wind deflector :headbang:

Yes a leather dash would be the main thing I'd want covered actually....

Really, I want this!!!

And I hate you for reminding me I don't have an ///M :x

Mines going to get a wheel refurb soon and a im tempted to get a detail done to.

Woots - I'm sort of regreting my private reg . They're great on a forever car but paying out everytime you transfer it is getting boring now! I've paid out as much swapping it to different cars as i did on the plate

Feck. Forgot about the detail for the rest of the car whilst it is being sprayed :headbang:

I decided I couldn't justify a private plate - the one I want is £500+... And that's a painted set of aero skirts :D

Could be a good investment if the numbers right.Mines part of my pension and should make ten percent a year.

Looks like my addiction has just caused the death of a few more cows... must be the Butterfly Zed effect

I was trying really hard to shift your addiction by osmosis - seems I may have succeeded

What have u bought jembo?

Yesterday I bought two rear Bilstein B6 shocks rather than the standard B4's. It's part of an ongoing mission to boldly replace every part of the suspension until I'm happy with the overall driving experience at full throttle, where of course Aero side skirts feature as an essential part of this rejuvenation process...

Apart from the alloy refurb in the winter, I'm not doing anymore changes to the Zed...

Obviously I'll keep on top of any serivce items etc.... but as this car is a test for me NOT to spend money on changing bits n bobs, I'll see how that pans out....

As an example... my S8 costs me £0.65p per mile to run - for everything...

The S4 I just got rid of was £3.85 per mile after all the mods and money I wasted on it.... OK, yes it was a beast.... but... still.... :headbang:

We'll see how living with the Zed goes...
