I just bought a 2006 E86 Z4 coupe. I love this car so far. I'm really impressed with the ability to drive normally, but have plenty of power and handling at any time. I happen to have the 10 speaker hifi with Carver subs and Nav. It sounds really good, but the lack of bass is killing me. I'm pretty comfortable with hacking into the wiring based on some of the wiring diagrams I've found, but I need to know where my factory amp is and how to access it. More specifically I need to know what panels I need to take off and maybe an order. This is my first BMW and my first 2 seat car in general. I've hooked up many full systems in the past, but this will be my first time hacking into a factory system. Helpful pics are always appreciated.
 
Hi and welcome.

The amp is in the boot against the bulkhead. That's the only panel you need to remove to gain access on a coupe I believe.
