We are still going up next Saturday morning around 9 for breakfast, if we see another Z, we will come and say hi

I’m definitely keen to still make it Fred it does seem they’re shooting themselves in the foot with their interpretation of the rules somewhat. I’m going to C&M (Stratford) on Wednesday night for their monthly StrassenKultur night... and when I phoned them they said the guidance doesn’t affect events, as it’s outside seating and service, and max groups of six with strictly enforced social distancing. Anywho, looking forward to the Z having two rides out this coming week, of which this will absolutely be one

I suppose the Ace carpark is a lot smaller than C&M grounds, don't know really. He told me that they can't hold a dedicated make or model meet up, so it's an open house...like C&M ??

Me and Diane are still going on Saturday morning, from around 9am for breakfast, so may bump into any of you guys that happen to be going..

The latest Govt announcement states that from Monday 14th Sept, we must not meet with people from other households socially in groups of more than 6.
This applies indoors/outdoors, and simplifies the rules on social gatherings, so they are easier to understand and enforce. As a COVID-19 Secure venue, Ace can still host larger numbers in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups anywhere on site, including the car park.
Over the next few days we will be reviewing the new Govt guidelines to ensure 100% compliance
We will not be hosting any meets at the Ace any time or day from 14th Sept.
Due to the current Covid-19 circumstances and to ensure everyone attending stays safe, NO meets, clubs or groups of people will be allowed in the car park. We will be operating a first-come first-served policy which includes access to both the Cafe and the carpark .Any clubs or groups planning to visit the Ace over the next few weeks need to be cancelled without further delay.
Our car park will be open for regular customers. On a positive note, we will be opening from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm every day except Friday when we close at 6.00 pm .It may be necessary from time to restrict entry if we reach full capacity.

According to the owner, there is a general vehicle meet but no club meets, it will be open to anyone and is open from 8 am. We will be there for 9 and hope to get in the carpark.
Looks like some others are going from here, so hope to bump into some of you guys.
Hopefully next year will be a proper meet again

It's such a shame the Ace decided to cancel - I had been looking forward to this for months!

Still it's good to see that some of us went anyway, and firebobby's weather order was fulfilled - especially after all the time and effort he put into organising the day.
