I remember seeing a thread on here about doorbells or similar being able to spring the door locks / roof into life... Can't say I have Ever had this happen to me though. You'd like to think the frequency was way out from general household electronics.
Only saying because as Buckz said, my fob has to be super close to do anything let alone put the top down. Sometimes I struggle to keep the unlock button pressed long enough to put the roof all the way down when I mean to :?
Funny you mention that, as my remote often sets off the door bell, which would get the dog barking and running to the door to see who it was. After a while he learned to look at us first, and if we didn't move, he wouldn't be arsed getting out of his bed either :lol:
There's an open boot symbol on bottom of the fob:
One press and the boot pops open - so its an easy in the pocket accidental mistake - if the car is within range but out of sight it would be a security risk.
