AC drain tube location

Hi, on holiday (big eu driving tour in my e89). I think aircon drain tube maybe blocked (water in footwells with no rain for past 10 days). Can anyone tell me were the aircon drain tube is located (photo would be great), so I can try to tell french garage where to look. Thanks in advance.
 
I’m pretty sure the dryer is on the side of the condenser which is at the front of the car.
Condensation will drip off pipes but definitely not enough to make you foot wells wet.
Are you sure the matrix isn’t leaking behind the dash
 
That's a weak point of the E89 AC.

It is a virtual world that everyone was plugged into IIRC! :lol:

The one referred to here is the heating and cooling coils behind the dash; ie 'heater matrix'. Strictly speaking the cooling one isn't a matrix it's the evaporator coil but that is splitting hairs! :)
 
So what would be leaking from the matrix (or evaporator)? Condensation from aircon or some fluid from the aircon system?

Condensation. The a/c produces quite a lot of it (as long as the system is charged and operating correctly). The more humid the air, the more it makes. The idea is it supposed to run off into a 'drip tray' and then go down a drain which drops it under the car on the floor.

That's the idea anyway! :wink:
