AC Compressor

Lads,

I have a 2003 2.5L E85 and the ac compressor stopped working. Had a second hand compressor sent over which turned out to be for a E46 and they thought it would be compatible with my Z4 because its the same engine, but turned out it wasn't compatible.
Does anyone know what models are compatible with a 2003 Z4 2.5L model?
Also if anyone has any id buy it.

I was told it is usually the clutch that stops working inside the compressor but I think safer to just replace the whole thing.

I have stripped my old car and have an A/C compressor currently attached to my complete engine from a 2005 3.0L. Would of thought it should be compatable. Pm if interested.
 
Im not quite sure, would it matter that my engine is 2.5L?
the part number on realoem.com for my compressor is one or both of these two!

Is there a way to find out whether yours is compatible?
