It went from £1300 to £1500. But that's because i got 3 points too :oops:

And dragging an old thread up indeed! But if anyone is interested, i recieved a cheque for £1800 about 6 weeks ago for personal injury. Everything is sorted and I won't be hearing anything from it again :)
 
Ah, so it's hard to say how much it went up then... Unless you did a quote without the non-fault claim too. Mine's going up £275 for a non-fault very small claim!
 
It doesn't matter. Your NCB isn't lost when you have a non fault claim, but your insurance goes up anyway. You are statistically more at risk of a fault claim.

Beware of shitners! I had my 5 series in there after a bump - the car was jet black and they resprayed it carbon black metallic! They then tried to say that it was a trick of the light, the rain on the bodywork etc - had to point out the little metallic flakes and threaten them with reprting them to my insurance company before they admitted it. They took it back in, resprayed one panel jet black and returned it to me with a second panel still painted metallic. I subsequently heard that the spray painters guide dog was at the vets that day.

The main thing is you are okay, could have been much worse was it not for you being so alert.

I think the front end must be all bend out off shape and a write off is in order, don't let them pull the wool over your eyes, make sure you are well compensated.
