Managed to get it out for a drive yesterday

Oh my! Just wow! Intend to do a good long drive tomorrow just because the roads should be quieter!

I took my first “long drive” (45 minutes) today and I concur. It is definitely a prescription that cures most ailments. I tend to daily mine

I went to get my little Mx5 out of the Garage a week or so back and the wire that releases the locking bolt, on the garage door, had parted company with the bolt. Required a new toy, in the form of a battery reciprocating saw. Took me two days to work that out and get a long enough blade to cut the darn bolt.

Been too busy driving in this lovely weather to replace the bolt yet. The car is being driven daily and living on the drive, until the rain comes.

That was a radical fix buzy!

I had the same problem with my garage door a few weeks ago but got it fixed today. There was enough flex in the door frame to clear the bolt, so a new bit of wire and it's sorted.

But it's fair to say it is far from being secure!
