OK,
First fault is my ABS warning lamp doesn't light up. I only noticed tonight messing with diagnostic tools, and doing a full activation of all lights it was clear that one was missing.
I know the cluster is a fairly easy removal, but inside will I find bulbs that just swap around, or is it a bit more complex than that? (I don't believe there are faults hidden by this as the car diagnostic checks out fine in that regard)
Also, my CD multi changer is faulty now it seems
It'll eject the magazine and everything fine, but it just doesn't seem to detect CD's present in it. I tried an empty magazine, then refilled but no detection. It sounds like it might not be actually dragging the CD trays into the player, but I can't be sure. The headunit just says after 6 whines and clicks from the back, that there are no CD's (or whatever it is, the head unit CD player says it when no CD is in that)
Is this a common fault? Not massively fussed now, but I'm thinking whatever the solution it's a lot of work to get at it...
Thanks for any help/advice
Dave
