Hi guys i have a fault with my ABS unit on my BMW Z4 2.0 E85.
I've removed and repaired the ABS pump, following the advice of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmCe98MZ-Yw
I want to know if anyone has had experience in fitting a repaired ABS pump, and what steps they had to go to remove the warning lights.
Originally I had the fault codes:
5dF0 - Hydraulic Unit: Pump Motor
5df1 - Hudraulic Unit: Pump Motor Connector Faulty
Since having repaired the motor, I have cleared the fault codes, however the warning lights remain.
I now no longer have these fault codes, but have the 5e5D Brake-Fluid level too low as I haven't done this step yet.
Does anyone know if I have to have driven the car for the fault codes to be cleared?
I've included a few pictures which hopefully help
Thanks!
